Masala dosa is south indian dish which can be served in breakfast or as a snacks. It is crispy, flavoured and has a potato masala or spiced potato stuff filled in it.

Masala dosa is very crisped and delicious that everyone will love it.No one can stop himself when it comes to you.It is generally seeved with coconut chutney and sambhar.
Mostly in south side , everybody make this at their home.and yes here i will tell you about how to make delicious masal dosa at your home.
How to make masala dosa ??
- At first , Add 1/2 cup of urad dal, 3 tbsp chana dal & 1/2 tsp methi seeds in a bowl.wash it and soak it for 30 mins for blending butter.
- Now take 1 cup raw rice.add it to large bowl.
- wash them and soak for 5-6 hours.
- Drain water from dal and now add poha to it with 1 cup of water and salt for blending.
- Bow pour it to Bowl
- Blend rice with 1/2 cup water to suit for liking .
- If neede pour another 1/4 cup of water , but acc. To need.
- pour it with dal batter, mix it well.
- now cover it and leave it for 5 to 17 hours to ferment in warm place acc. to climate.
Now make potato. Masala for dosa.
- Next day, boil some potatoes , while the potato boil, soak 1tsp chana dal& 1tsp urad dal in hot water for 35 min,so they soften, drain the water
- now heat a pan with 1tbsp oil , add 1/2 tsp cumin(jeera), 3/4 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp chana dal and 1 tsp urad dal. When dal turns brownish, add hing.
- add some chopped ginger, add sliced onions, green chilies,
- let them turn light golden, now crumble potato add it with turmeric and salt.
- let them heat and add chopped coriander leaves.
let it set aside now and make masla dosa
Make masala dosa
- Now masala dosa batter is in right consistentcy
- Now heat a pan on medium flames
- when pan is hot enough , stir the batter in the bowl and take a ladle of batter. Pour it on hot pan.
- now begin to spread the batter from center moving in clockwise direction, make circle until you reach its edges.
- let it cook till slightly brown and cooked well.
- flip it and cook on other side until it turn light brown . Now put the flame medium , add mashed or crumbled potato in one half of dosa.
- add chutney at other side if you required, then place potato curry .
- Now either roll it or fold it .
- your masala dosa is ready now you can served it with chutney or sambhar..
